Preparing Your Portfolio of Evidence (PoE)

portfolioYour portfolio of evidence is a collection of documents from a project or projects that you have managed. The PoE is used by the assessors for Level B and Level C candidates to determine if you have satisfied the performance requirements. For example:

  • One performance criteria says “relevant stakeholders are determined.”

  • Documentary evidence might include a page from your project plan, an email listing the key stakeholders, meeting minutes, a Responsibility Assignment Matrix, or a list of project roles and responsibilities.

The Stage 2 Application includes lists of possible documents:

  • These lists are illustrative, not comprehensive. You might be able to provide evidence through the use of a document that is not on the list.

  • Your organization may have different names for some of the documents on the list.

  • You should use the fewest number of documents possible. Quite often, one document will provide evidence for many performance criteria.

Each applicant is responsible for preparing their own PoE according to the instructions in the Stage 2 Application.

  • There is no “correct” set of documents.

  • Individuals from the same organization can often provide adequate evidence with different sets of documents.
